Fifty-four pairs entered the Better Ball competition this year which was held at Great Barr Golf Club in Staffordshire on Monday 31st July. The field represented 35 golf clubs across the various counties which was amazing turn out. Great Barr Golf Club were excellent hosts with the Ladies Section greeting all players in the foyer. They looked after us well in the clubhouse and halfway on the course where cakes and drinks were served.

This event was well organised by Lorraine Barker, Staffordshire Rep, who had also arranged starters on the tee. Unfortunately, the heavy rain reflected in the scores on the day. However, ladies who had not played here before commented on the great condition of the course and how well the course was presented.
The Lady Captain of Great Barr, Sylvia Ellard, presented the prizes with Sally Sketcher and results are as follows:
