Our Midland Senior Women’s Championship was held on Thursday 28th May 2026, at Luffenham Heath Golf Club, on a glorious sunny day, with wind and humidity playing its part. We had a great field with players from across 14 counties and 41 clubs.
Thanks for the success of the day were given to the Club, the greenstaff who presented the course in such great condition in very challenging weather and the catering and bar staff who kept us fed and watered throughout the day. The volunteers from the lady section were amazing as was Lady Captain of Luffenham, Polly, who was there to support us throughout the day.
A big thankyou to all the ladies who took part for their tremendous support. The Midland Senior Women’s Golf Association is about much more than scores and trophies — it’s about the wonderful camaraderie we share at our events, that said my congratulations to all of the day’s winners and especially to our Champion for 2026, Sue Caley from Aspley Guise & Woburn Sands with a gross 76.
